Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting networks, devices, applications, and data from threats and attacks. Cybersecurity includes a body of tools and processes which, when skillfully employed, protect businesses, governments, healthcare institutions, public infrastructure, and other organizations. Because of the critical nature of computers and networks, and the sensitive nature of the data they contain and communicate, the need for cybersecurity workers has grown rapidly in the last decade. Currently, there are not enough skilled workers to meet the job demands.

This program is designed for those applicants who have a computer science or information technology background and those who are changing careers from a non-technical field.
